Greymouth - the third blast occurred in a New Zealand mine where 29 miners were reported killed earlier, in a previous explosion. No one was hurt in this latest explosion.
"The third blast occurred in the mines. The explosion took place approximately 30 seconds," said Pike River coal mine Direktut John Dow as quoted by AFP on Friday (26/11/2010).
