New hollow - on cool performing the National Anthem at Thanksgiving Day
A fresh new twist to a classic rock sound — that’s what the new teen rock band, New Hollow delivers! The three teen band members, Evan West, 16 (lead vocals, keyboard, bass), Mick Clouse, 16 (lead vocals, guitar) and Chad Blashford, 14 (drums, back-up vocals), are all self-taught musicians and vocalists. In addition to being skilled at multiple instruments, they also write their own songs.

New Hollow, will be the featured National Anthem performer for the Dallas Cowboys nationally televised Thanksgiving Day game on November 25, 2010 which annually kicks off The Salvation Army’s National Red Kettle fundraising campaign. New Hollow, an unsigned group, recently made Billboard history by topping the Billboard Physical CD Singles Sales Charts at #1 for three consecutive weeks with their single “SiCK.”

Selling an unprecedented 90,000+ CD singles with no previous radio play, New Hollow will open the Dallas Cowboys versus New Orleans Saints match-up with a National Anthem performance which marks the band’s first television appearance of their young careers.

The Thanksgiving Day musical festivities continue into halftime with three-time Grammy award winning artist Keith Urban officially kicking off The Salvation Army’s annual charitable efforts. Urban’s halftime show marks the 14th year that the Dallas Cowboys and The Salvation Army have partnered together to raise money for people in need in communities across the country. Previous celebrity halftime performers include Daughtry, Jonas Brothers, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, Destiny’s Child, Toby Keith, LeAnn Rimes, Creed, Jessica Simpson, Billy Gillman, Clint Black, Randy Travis and Reba McEntire.
