Randy Shannon Carrer : who will replace his position

Randy Shannon Carrer ,Miami’s loss to South Florida on Saturday didn’t get Randy Shannon fired -- four years of mediocrity did. Randy Shannon finished with a mediocre 28-22 record in four seasons as Miami's head coach.

None of Shannon’s 28 wins were all that memorable.

Shannon changed the perception of the program.
Miami fired coach Randy Shannon on Saturday night, hours after the Hurricanes finished a 7-5 regular season that began with championship expectations.
The Hurricanes decided to promote from within when they hired Shannon after talking to Rutgers coach Greg Schiano, a former Miami assistant, and then-Texas Tech coach Mike Leach, among others.
"Sorry to hear about Coach Shannon. "Randy Shannon is Miami," university president Donna Shalala famously said when he was hired, with good reason.

Who will replace Randy Shannon Position
With Randy Shannon out at Miami, the attention turns to the coaching search. Who will the next head coach be? Mark Richt: The Georgia head coach hit a rough patch this season and currently sits at 6-6. Gus Malzahn: The offensive coordinator at Auburn has plenty of buzz surrounding his name and is a prime offensive coordinator turned head coach candidate. Even if there's no fire, a head coaching job at a storied program like Miami would be tough to turn down.
Chris Petersen: Another year, another round of coaching rumors for the Boise State head coach. There is one final head coaching candidate.
